Rotor design of a Line-Start Synchronous Reluctance Machine for Industrial Applications
Žíla, Jakub ; Knebl, Ladislav (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of rotor of synchronous reluctance machines. There is a theoretical description of rotor geometry of synchronous reluctance machine that respects natural flow of magnetic flux inside complete rotor. The parametric model of rotor is made with usage of ANSYS Maxwell and Matlab software. Furthermore, the parameters of the machines are confirmed using the same program. Finally, changes of motor parameters are observed in connection with different rotor geometries.
Influence of Glottal Shape of Human Vocal Fold on its Modal Characteristics
Zelinka, Martin ; Švancara, Pavel (referee) ; Hájek, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to create a parametric model with a variable angle of the human vocal fold and to determine the first two frequencies of vocal fold oscillations for all angles from -40 ° to + 40 °. The result is supported by a review of the anatomy of the human vocal system, the creation and modification of the voice, and current models of the human vocal fold. The model used for this work is created in the 3D CAD Inventor model software. Modal analysis is solved in the computer program ANSYS Workbench, solved using finite element methods.
Approaches for Modeling the Exact Shape of the Gears
Capoušek, Josef ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the modelling an accurate tooth shape profile, with the goal to create parametric model of the chosen type of gear. In the introduction part the basic terms and classification of the gears are summarized. The following is the overview of the methods of construction an accurate tooth shape profile including examples in the form of planar involute, spherical involute and octoid profile. In the last section the methods of the modelling bevel gear, and creation of the model gear manufactured by Cyclo-Palloid method are described.
Parametric model of injection mold
Tomanec, Pavel ; Vrána, Radek (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with creating parametric model of plates injection mold for plastic by using software CatiaV5. It is used for faster and more efficient in the design of the injection mold. The first section describes the basic design and technological elements for designing injection molds. The second part describes the system for creating and constrain the parameters finally verify the functionality of the created model.
Modeling of Exhaust Manifold for Turbocharged Engine
Fanta, Tomáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This work describes different structural designs of the exhaust manifold and creation of parametric models of exhaust downpipes of supercharged engine 1,4 TSI. Next, the study deals with exhaust manifold’s materials and with present basic principles of thermodynamic and hydrodynamic. Then two parametric models were modelled in Solidworks software. First model was made according to existing exhaust manifold of engine 1,4 TSI. It was symmetrical model (collector in the axis). For second parametric model the collector was moved in horizontal direction, so this model is asymmetrical. Both models were evaluated considering their complexity of structural design and their manufacturing claims. Finally the possibility of CFD analysis for evaluation of parametric models was studied.
Vehicle parametric models
Vašátko, Marek ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the creation of parametric models of vehicle in the Catia V5 software. These parametric models will be used to visualize measurements and simulations. The thesis also deals with the creation of a program for calculating the parameters of the human figure depending on the angle of rotation of body parts.
Transmission error in spur gears
Bartošová, Daniela ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This master’s thesis is deal with the area of determining the static transmission error in spur gears. Nowadays, around vibration and noise formation, the issue of transmission error is being discussed quite often. In the first part of this master’s thesis, there is a description of the theoretical requirements concerning the above stated issue. These theoretical requirements are further applied in parametric planning of the spur gears as well as in measuring the transmission error itself. In this master’s thesis, both the detailed description of planning the parametric model of spur gears and the strain-stress analysis may be found. These requirements are needed for calculating the transmission error. In conclusion of this master’s thesis, specific results of the static transmission error in spur gears achieved at diversifying load torque, center distance modifications as well as tip relief modifications of spur gears are being presented. The issue was solved by computation approach with the help of CAD software called Creo Parametric and FEM software called Ansys Workbench and Ansys Mechanical APDL.
Design and optimalisation of synchronous reluctance machine
Bárta, Jan ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This theses is related to design of synchronous reluctance motors of the transverse-laminated type. The first part describes synchronous reluctance machine via space-vector theory. Furthermore this part briefly discuss the main design aspects of synchronous reluctance machines. The main part of this thesis is related to practical electromagnetic rotor design for synchronous reluctance machine by means of finite element method. On this base the rotor has been fabricated and placed inside of induction motor instead of his original rotor. On this prototype was made several measurements which were compared with results from finite element method analysis. The last part of this theses is related to short study of synchronous reluctance machine dynamical behaviour under scalar and vector control.
Rotor Slot Shape Optimization of an Induction Machine
Szekeres, Vojtech ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with optimization by using artificial intelligence of an induction machine rotor slot. The one optimized is commonly manufactured induction motor with simple deep bar rotor. Goal is to design an optimization method and achieve the highest possible value of efficiency and power factor of chosen machine. Work contains the parametric model construction in Ansys Maxwell software, the optimization algorithm assembly and its setup for desirable output, and processing of the results.
Shape Measurement of Loaded Tyre
Hlavatý, Jiří ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis is focused on measuring the shape of loaded tire and finding dependencies between inner tire pressure, load and the influence of these parameters on the resulting shape of the tire. Data for these dependencies were obtained by using a constructed measuring stand and 3D optical technology. Found dependencies describe the change in shape of the tire in specific mathematical functions, and served the creation of a parametric model of the tire. The main finding of this thesis is that the tire is actually behaves according to dependencies described by varying degrees of polynomial function.
